Meet our Founder, Naj Modak, Chart.PR, MPRCA

Naj founded Modak PR after a career that has involved high profile and international success as a communications specialist and broadcast journalist, working as part of a diverse range of global companies.
His curiosity for ‘all things behind the scenes’ led him to build a diverse platform within the broadcast and communications environment.
Naj has over eighteen years' communications experience, is an active commitee member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and has been awarded the accreditation of Chartered PR Practitioner.
Some of his proudest moments include managing royal PR activity with Buckingham Palace for a learning disability charity, interviewing Tim Disney (grand nephew of Walt Disney) and presenting a number of films at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in multiple years. Naj has also significantly improved communications for a large UK bank, a multi-site Ofsted 'Outstanding' specialist education provider and a global oil refinery.
Naj also enjoys lending his skills to help local charities, including providing PR support as a trustee to the mental health charity, Mind. He is also a champion of local creative and business talent and is a business ambassador for North Lincolnshire Council's Place Marketing Board.
He also has a good relations with local decision makers and influencers and has recently been honoured to be invited to observe Prime Minister's Questions at the heart of British democracy.
